Booking & Payment
You can simply choose a room and follow the subsequent steps. Once booking is complete, you will receive an email with confirmation.
We accept mobile money, direct bank transfers, and cash at the hostel office. Full payment is preferred, but a minimum 50% partial payment is required by the semester deadline to finalize the tenancy. The remainder is due mid-semester.
A separate, refundable security deposit is required upon check-in. This deposit covers potential damages to the room or common areas and will be returned after a satisfactory final room inspection.
Room & Belongings
Residents are allowed to bring the following items:
- Pressing Iron
- Pots, pans, dishes, kitchen & dining utensils (for use in the general kitchen only).
- Bed sheets, pillow, blankets, mosquito nets
- Personal effects and toiletries
- Curtains
- Small Refrigerator (One per room)
- TV (Note: The use of a TV is not encouraged as it may affect studies. Residents are advised to use the TV provided in the general TV room).
**PROHIBITED:** Electric cookers, unauthorized cooking appliances, and portable washing machines are strictly prohibited due to electrical safety and fire risk.
Yes, residents are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their own rooms and washrooms. Janitorial staff regularly clean common areas, general kitchens, and the TV/Games rooms.
Residency & Facilities
Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi access is provided free of charge for all residents throughout the hostel premises.
Basic electricity and water consumption are generally included, but excessive use may incur additional charges, as outlined in your rental agreement. We also have generator backup during power outages.
Absolutely. We contract 3rd Eye Security Limited to provide 24/7 on-site security personnel, controlled access gates, and CCTV coverage in all common areas and external perimeter for resident safety.
Visitors are permitted only during specified visiting hours: **9:00 AM to 11:00 PM**. For the collective interest of all residents, overnight guests are strictly discouraged and require special prior approval from the Hostel Manager and apartment mates.
Administrative
Yes! If you wish to renew your contract for the next semester, please contact the administration at least 30 days before your current contract ends to secure your room.
Charlotte Court Hostel is located approximately 5 minutes walk from the main university campus.
